This is a temporary position for approximately 12 months.
Ability to
perform all diagnostic procedures with the skill and judgement to apply
prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. The ability to
deliver quality patient care safely within the scope of practice defined by the
College of Medical Radiation Technology and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
(CMRITO).
Must have the
ability to work with minimal supervision during regular hours and no
supervision after hours. Must possess the ability to work safely and
professionally with patients, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications:
·
Requires a post-secondary degree/diploma in
Medical Radiation Technology.
·
CT courses 1,2 and 3
·
Speciality designation in CT preferred
·
IV training course or equivalent
·
Must be registered with the College of Medical
Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
Experience:
·
Experience in a hospital CT clinical
environment.
·
Experience with IV starts and contrast
injections.
