Help Lanark County Paramedics Fill an Ambulance with Food During the Annual Holiday Food Drive

December 02, 2025

Montague, Ontario – Lanark County Paramedic Service (LCPS) is once again inviting residents across Lanark County to support their Annual Holiday Food Drive, taking place Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7, 2025. Community members are encouraged to help “Stuff the Ambulance” with non-perishable food items and monetary donations, all in support of the Build a Mountain of Food campaign, which distributes essential supplies to food banks across Lanark County.

This annual event is one of the largest seasonal contributions made to local food banks and plays a vital role in supporting families during the busy Christmas season. Donations collected by LCPS paramedics and volunteers are always eagerly anticipated and immensely appreciated by food bank partners.

When & Where:

· Saturday, December 6, 2025: Independent Grocers in Smiths Falls (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

· Sunday, December 7, 2025: Independent Grocers in Carleton Place, Perth and Almonte (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

LCPS paramedics, together with local volunteers and families, will be on site collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Families and community members of all ages are encouraged to join in and take part in this tradition of giving.

All donations will support food banks across Lanark County through the Build a Mountain of Food campaign, helping ensure no one goes without during the holidays.

Residents are encouraged to drop off donations at any participating location during event hours. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful impact.

Let’s come together again this year to help fill the ambulances and continue this long-standing tradition of generosity, compassion, and community spirit.
